Want a good way to chase your tax filing blues? The New Tenants, directed and produced, respectively, by Heights residents and PS 8 parents Joachim Back and Mette Ambro, winner of this year’s academy award for Best Live Action Short, will be screened on the evening of April 15 at Brooklyn Heights Cinema, 70 Henry Street (corner of Orange), for the benefit of the PS8 PTA. There will be two showings, 7:00 to 7:30 and 7:30 to 8:00. Adults only will be admitted; the suggested donation for admission is $10 per person. Seating is limited, and on a first come first served basis.
Following the screening, take your ticket stub to Tazza, 72 Clark Street, and enjoy complimentary hors d’ouvres while socializing with fellow film buffs.
