Do you have access to a garden or roof? Do you like honey? If so, you may want to contact David Glick. David is an expert beekeeper and a member of the New York City Beekeepers Association, which was mentioned in this recent New York Times article (note: since the article was published, the City Board of Health has decided to make beekeeping legal).
David has recently moved to the Heights. Unfortunately, his Clark Street studio affords him neither garden nor roof access. So, he’s looking for someone nearby who has such access, and who is willing to allow him to put his hive there. In exchange, he will provide you with a share of the honey. If this interests you, please contact David — glickd AT gmail.com. He will be glad to discuss it with you over coffee.
