Although the first lighting of the giant Chanukah menorah outside the Brooklyn Supreme Court will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m., the official inauguration celebration will be held on Monday night at 5:30 p.m. The ceremony will be led by Rabbi Aaron Raskin and Borough President Marty Markowitz, and will feature a live band and holiday treats.
Other Chanukah events hosted by Congregation B’nai Avraham include Latkes and Lattes on Sunday, December 13 and a benefit concert on Thursday, December 17.
