Haircuts for Charity This Sunday

This Sunday, the Supercuts on Montague Street will be holding a charity event to benefit The Children’s Tumor Foundation. The “Cut-A-Thon” will run from 6 to 9 p.m., haircuts will be roughly half priced—$9 for adults and $7 for children and seniors—with all proceeds going to benefit the foundation. The salon is asking patrons to bring a check so it can be made out directly to the charity.

Thanks to BHB tipster Mitchell!

Great idea and a very worthy cause. Have to say, though, that the name of this benefit was not very well thought out, given the name of the foundation it’s supporting.

Hopefully the hair will go to “Locks of Love” for cancer patients’s wigs.

Either way you spell it, that’s a brilliant idea Billy.
