    “Stinkoberry” is local patois for the fruit of the ginkgo tree, of which many line the streets of our neighborhood. At this time of year, these small, nut-like fruit fall in profusion on sidewalks and streets, and exude an aroma that would only be pleasing to (as Monty Python would have it) “those keen on regurgitation.”
