100 Clark Street For Sale

Untitled-14.jpgThe Brooklyn Eagle reports today that 100 Clark Street (aka 1 Monroe Place) is among the buildings for sale in a nine property portfolio recently placed on the market. Eastern Consolidated is representing the seller. The paper adds that the building has Landmarks approval to increase total square footage from 1,950 to 9,750 square feet. The broker's listing adds that the property is 100% vacant, opening it up to a number of renovation possibilities. No price has been announced for the portfolio.

100% vacant = no human tenants. I bet there are tons of rats and pigeons calling 100 Clark their home….everytime I walk by there, all I can hear is pigeon squawking……

I have this building in the “next NYC building that will collapse” office pool.

This building did experience an interior collapse a couple/few years ago, which is most likely why it is currently vacant. Gotta figure it’s getting gutted and built up into luxury condos.

Luckily, not all New York realtors deal in collapsibles. 6-10 Clark St. just went to Awaye Realty (which is NOT associated with Forest City Ratner) in a lease with 42 luxury studios up for rent. No history of collapse here. Just a great opportunity to snatch up no fee rentals on a beautiful street, in a beautiful building that is finally available to the public… and only steps from the Prominade. Yessss!!!!
