I’m showing the green light for this weekend — late evening Friday, June 2 to early morning Monday, June 5 — because, as of now (early morning Friday, June 2) the MTA’s “Planned Service Changes” website is not showing any planned changes that directly and negatively affect service at any local stations, except that 2 trains will be running on a reduced schedule — every 12 minutes. Indeed, there will be extra service at Court Street and the N/R platforms at Borough Hall, as N trains, which normally serve these stations late at night, will be re-routed in both directions between Canal Street in Manhattan and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center in Brooklyn to serve them for the entire weekend.
The following work week — morning Monday, June 5 to evening Friday, June 9 — late nights there will be no service at York Street in DUMBO, but extra service at Court Street and the N/R platforms at Borough Hall. as F trains will be re-routed to the N/R line in both directions between 57th Street-7th Avenue in Manhattan and 36th Street in Brooklyn.
Always check MTA Info for last minute changes in planned service or unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling. You can also get real time service alerts: register here.
