This weekend – late evening Friday, January 21 to early morning, Monday, January 24 – there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street, as A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street. Brooklyn bound 2, 3, and 4 trains will be skipping the Bergen Street, Grand Army Plaza, and Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum stops. To reach these stations, go to Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College and take a Manhattan bound train back to the skipped station. Of course, the Clark Street station remains closed in both directions as the elevators are repaired. The latest advice is that the job should be complete in April. Be aware that Omicron has cut a swath through MTA employees – even the vaccinated ones – so that it has sometimes been necessary to cut service on some lines. So, always check MTA Info before taking a train that’s not on the list here of ones not serving local stations.
The following week – early morning, Monday, January 24 to late evening, Friday, January 28 – during late evenings to early mornings Manhattan bound N trains will be diverted to the Q line between DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street. There will be no Manhattan bound service at Court Street or at the N/R platform at Jay Street-MetroTech. Use 4 trains as an option. Apart from that, no planned changes directly affecting service at local stations. Keep in mind, though, always check MTA Info for unplanned changes on other lines, or for changes affecting service at stations to which you’re going or from which you’re coming.
