Photoville, the free outdoor photographic festival, has returned to Brooklyn Bridge Park and to other locations around Brooklyn and the other boroughs. The format of many of the exhibits is like that in the photo: large, billboard like panels with several photos concerning a particular theme, along with explanatory text. The exhibit in the photo is located on the south side of Pier 5 (the one with the soccer fields, near the foot of Joralemon Street), Brooklyn Bridge Park. It is dedicated to worker owned cooperatives. This year’s Photoville includes both static displays and live events. A list of exhibits and events is here. Photoville will be here through December 1.
