The New Year’s Fireworks will go off at the stroke of midnight, just as the ball is dropping at Times Square. They will be launched from near Liberty Island, and so will be easily visible from the Promenade, or from Heights rooftops. Unfortunately, the forecast temperature at that time is fourteen degrees Fahrenheit. Dress for warmth!
