Five-year-old Uli found herself homeless after her previous caretaker passed away. This sweet feline was dumped at a kill shelter, and the good folks at Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition couldn’t bear to see her left behind when she was the only cat left on an Animal Care and Control van at the end of a big adoption event.
“It broke our hearts!” wrote BBAWC on the group’s Facebook page.
Not all cats “show well” at stressful adoption events, and Uli is one of them, so BBAWC took her in and found her a loving foster home in Windsor Terrace, where her extroverted personality has shone.
This social, long-haired tux loves being part of an active household; gentle and friendly, she would be perfect with both kids and first-time cat caretakers. She’s a snuggler who sleeps close to her humans, and she happily spends her days looking out the window or playing with a toy mouse.
Uli would love to be a single cat but she’s tolerant with other laid-back cats who will give her space. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped.
