Only Livin' Girl in New York: So I've landed finally and am now growing roots in the wonderful neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights. At first I wondered a lot about whether or not I was making the right choice – to move out of Manhattan into a borough. But after all of the trauma about carting all my crap through the streets of NY and trying to keep up with the pace and stress of city living – I needed a little reprieve. I have to say… I LOVE IT!
Brooklyn Heights is the most lovely neighborhood EVER. It has all the convenience of Manhattan with less grime. The street where I live is treelined, wide and beautiful. There are plenty 10 minutes subway ride from my favorite neighborhoods in Manhattan – The Village and Chelsea. AND on my afternoon run down the promenade I look at the Statue of Liberty one way and the bridges and Empire State Building the other.
