Google announced yesterday that it will offer users the ability to create 3D renderings of any building found on Google Maps. While New York City is not on the list of test areas for the new project, history buffs have been rendering 3D models of landmarks using Google Sketch Up for a while now. User BerylDrue has mocked up several Brooklyn Heights literary landmarks including Arthur Miller’s home at 31 Grace Court, which he eventually sold to W.E.B DuBois.
