Heather Wolf Leads Bird Walk Sunday; “Warbler Wednesday” Happy Hour at Estuary with Repast Baroque Ensemble

Heather Wolf, author of Find More Birds and Birding at the Bridge, will lead a bird tour in Brooklyn Bridge Park this Sunday morning, January 14. There are many species wintering in the Park. Ms. Wolf has recently seen these: Cooper’s Hawk, Gadwall, American Woodcock, American Kestrel, White-throated Sparrow, and Great Blue Heron. The tour begins at 9:00 AM; meet by Bargemusic near the Fulton Street entrance to Pier One. It’s free, but you must register here.

On Wednesday evening, January 17, Heather will be at Estuary at ONE 15 Brooklyn Marina, 159 Bridge Park Drive (foot of Joralemon Street) for a “Warbler Wednesday Happy Hour” from 7:00 to 9:00. Members of the Repast Baroque Ensemble will be there to perform a sample of what will be in their “Bird Fancier’s Delight” concerts, in Brooklyn Heights on Saturday, January 20 and in Manhattan on Sunday, January 21.
