This Saturday, May 13, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting, there will be a Kite Festival at Pier 5, the soccer field pier near the foot of Joralemon Street, in Brooklyn Bridge Park. If you don’t have a kite, there will be kites for sale. You can also learn how to make your own kite, in the Caribbean style. There will be lots of other activities and entertainment for children and adults. Food trucks will be there. Admission is free. There’s more information here.
