This weekend — late evening Friday, October 7 to early morning Monday, October 10 — there will be a do-si-do involving N and R trains. N trains will run in both directions at Court Street and at Jay Street-MetroTech all weekend instead of just late nights. Meanwhile R trains will be diverted to the D line (the route N trains normally take from early mornings to late evenings) in both directions between DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn and West 4th Street-Washington Square in Manhattan. Also, Manhattan bound C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech and 34th Street-Herald Square. All other trains should be running on their normal weekend schedules.
The following work week, late nights Monday, October 10 to Tuesday, Tuesday October 11 to Wednesday, Wednesday, October 12 to Thursday, And Thursday, October 13 to Friday, there will be no 3 train service in either direction. 2 trains should be running normally. These same late nights there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street, as Manhattan bound A trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street-Washington Square and C trains are not running late at night. Also, these same nights, there will be no Manhattan bound N trains at Court Street or Jay Street-MetroTech, as Manhattan bound N trains will be diverted over the Q line from DeKalb Avenue to Canal Street. R trains should be running normally in both directions at these stations, as should Brooklyn bound N trains.
