Planned Parenthood Rally for Roe Saturday

On Saturday, May 14 Planned Parenthood has organized a rally against the likely overturning of Roe v. Wade by the U.S. Supreme Court; It will begin at noon at Cadman Park, and will proceed from there to a march across the Brooklyn Bridge to Foley Square in Manhattan. Women’s March and Move On will be hosting a rally at Manhattan’s Union Square staring at 2:00 PM, which is part of a nationwide “Day of Action for Abortion Rights.”

    I’d love to know whether the policing bill came to $10 million or $50 million or ?? … Maybe, someone thought that there’d be incidents between the absolute friggin’ crazies who put fetal lives ahead of women’s lives … and the marchers, but this sure looked to me like “Hey, cops don’t get bonuses, they just get the equivalent in overtime, where they give up a Saturday for $1000 a man or woman … and spend the day ENTIRELY on their phones.”

    And were there 6 porta-potties for the 20,000 or so people in Cadman? I pine for the years when SOME intelligent people had positions of authority in NYC govt.
