This New Year’s weekend – Saturday, January 1 and Sunday, January 2 – apart from the continuing closure of Clark Street Station, there will be minimal planned disruptions to service at local stations. C trains will not run overnight, and this will continue through the following week. Midnight Sunday to early Monday morning F trains will run in two sections: trains to and from Manhattan will follow their usual route to and from Jay Street-MetroTech, but will then be on the C route to and from Euclid Avenue. F trains to and from Coney Island will originate and terminate at Bergen Street. Travelers to or from Coney Island can switch trains by going to the opposite platform at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets.
The following week, late nights from Monday, January 3 to Friday, January 7, there will be no 3 train service in either direction. 2 trains will make all 3 stops between Borough Hall and Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College, and 4 trains will make 3 train stops between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and New Lots Avenue. Late nights Monday to Friday there will be no Manhattan bound N trains at Court Street or at Jay Street-Borough Hall, but R trains should be running normally.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info. Be aware that because of COVID infections affecting transit workers, the MTA may find it necessary to cut back service on some lines at any time.
