The chief of breast surgery at Maimonides Medical Center will speak to the Brooklyn Heights community about breast cancer awareness at Our Ladyof Lebanon Cathedral. Dr. Patrick Borgen, M.D., who heads the Boro Park hospital’s Breast Center, will discuss breast cancer awareness on Sunday, March 25, at 1p.m. The lecture and sit-down luncheon is open to both parishioners and to the community at large. Though Borgen lectures extensively on the topic, this is the first occasion that Our Lady of Lebanon Cathedral, a Maronite Catholic church, will host such a program. Bishop Gregory Mansour said that if there is a large turnout, the church hopes to plan more events like this inthe future.
