Incident At Clark Street And Columbia Heights This Afternoon

We’ve received word that there was an incident that resulted in someone pulling out a gun near the corner of Clark Street and Columbia Heights around 3pm this afternoon. At this time (3:20pm) there’s a large police presence, and there’s rumored to be a wrongful arrest based on mistaken identity.     Surely, the police blotter at the 84th (?) is online by now.

    And just a well-meant suggestion that given the “staffing” and commitment of those who make this blog possible, “hard news” is probably best left to other outlets. “Stories” (fragments of, really) like this one do what? … Get people worrying about something not much more substantial than a rumor?

    More positively, kudos to whomever was super-fast in reporting the Henry’s End changing location.

    I walked by this location at 3:30 that afternoon and didn’t see anything like what is described.
    Anybody with any first hand information they can add?
