Join local animal rescue group Infinite Hope on Thursday, April 27th at Industry City Distillery for a fundraiser to support its work improving the lives of Brooklyn’s animals.
An all-volunteer group, Infinite Hope was founded in 2004 and has placed over 1,500 animals in permanent and loving homes and has provided care to hundreds more cats through TNR (Trap Neuter Return) projects. It has held TNR info sessions at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe and has a bevy of lovely adoptable cats available, and the group works with adopters to ensure a smooth transition for both humans and felines. Infinite Hope is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) not-for-profit.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door and the evening will include silent auction items, raffles, light food, and drinks by Industry City Distillery, which features gorgeous sunset and harbor views. Your ticket includes a free specialty cocktail. Silent auction items include restaurant gift certificates, beauty products, travel accommodations, and gifts for animals.
Proceeds will directly support animal care, food, and other rescue expenses. Can’t make it? You can donate to support Infinite Hope’s work.
(Editorial interpolation: I attended this event last year and had a great time meeting fellow animal lovers and indulging my competitive instincts during the silent auction, which includes tempting items at a wide range of prices.)
The event begins at 6:30. Industry City Distillery is at 33 35th Street in Brooklyn, a short walk from the D/N/R stop at 36th Street. You can purchase tickets here.
For more information, check out the group’s website, Facebook page, and Instagram account.
On behalf of his fellow rescued pals, adoptable Jasper thanks you!
