This coming Saturday evening, April 23, starting at 6:30 p.m., Grace Church will present its annual Gala and Silent Auction. The Gala, for which “festive attire” is appropriate, will feature food and drink and an opportunity to bid on items in the silent auction which, in previous years, have included fine clothing; jewelry; artwork; china and silver; tickets to musical, theater, and sporting events; and gift certificates from local merchants and restaurants. Tickets for the gala are $35 if purchased in advance (come to the Parish Office, 254 Hicks Street, between Grace Court and Joralemon Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) or $40 at the door. If you have something that you would like to donate to the silent auction, please call the Parish Office, 718-624-1850, or e-mail slarson@gracebrooklyn.org.
