Don’t let a little rain deter you…join the Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition today for the annual Howl-O-Ween Pet pet parade and adoption event on the Promenade.
The parade will begin at 1 pm, with winners announced at 3 pm.
You can register your pet on the spot for a chance to win great prizes from local donors. Thank you to all the local businesses that contributed to make the event happen.
Proceeds benefit the rescue work of BBAWC and Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue. Pet contestant tickets are $25 and raffle tickets are $5.
If your feline would like to participate but think that she might not love the chaos of the live parade, she can participate from home! Send a picture of your cat (or any other pet) in a costume and BBAWC will post it on their gallery page for judging.
The day will also feature entertainment and activities for kids and pets, including face painting, a doggie photo boot, and vendors. Adoptable pets will also be a part of the festivities, so come out to fight a furever friend to add to your family.
Check out some of the prizes on the Raffle Prizes page.
More info on the event’s website, and follow BBAWC’s news on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, because of course you can use more cute animal photos in your life.
Have a happy Howl-O-Ween!
