From our good friends at Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition:
Eight-year-old Benny was rescued from a Woodhaven backyard. Left behind when his family moved away, he tried to survive in a local feral colony, but this sweet housecat didn’t have the chops for street life: he’d try to get in on the colony food, but the other cats would chase him away.
Fortunately, a caretaker rescued this loving, sweet boy, and after a vet/dental check, he’s now short a few teeth but otherwise a happy and healthy cat…but in months in our listings, not a single person has inquired about him. :(
Benny is an avowed “people cat” and couch potato. He loves to snuggle next to his caretaker, especially when sleeping. He’s a quiet and affectionate boy who would appreciate and deserves a second chance at an indoor home. He’s interacts well with other friendly cats.
Neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/
E-mail BrooklyBridgeAnimals@yahoo.com to arrange a play date in his Queens foster home, and please share with people who might be interested in giving this sweet boy a home.
