Will Brooklyn Heights Lose Senator Squadron?

Crain’s New York reports today that several political aspirants are gearing up to run for Daniel Squadron’s Senate seat, in anticipation that Squadron may be headed to City Hall, possibly to serve as Parks Commissioner.  Lower Manhattan District Leaders Jenifer Rajkumar and Paul Newell, and for Brooklyn District Leader Lincoln Restler are are reportedly interested.

Crain’s: Several hours after this article was initially published Tuesday, a Squadron spokeswoman said, “Senator Squadron will vigorously campaign for re-election on the strength of his record. Anyone expecting a vacancy will be disappointed.”

Who would be your choice?

Dog catcher is the job for Squadron – except he’s the dog. An insult to make him Parks Commissioner after he screwed his community with housing inside our park.
