The Swing Valley play area at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 6 will re-open Saturday, April 27 by noon. Swing Valley is the last section of the park to re-open since Superstorm Sandy swept through the area, “making the re-opening an important milestone in our storm recovery,” BBP notes.
Flooding from Sandy damaged the Swing Valley play surface and park officials have been working to install a durable and vibrant replacement. “We are thrilled to be able to welcome visitors back to this beloved playground, and hope you enjoy a fun-filled day at the park.” (Photo: BBP)
