Update: 75 Clinton Street Leases 71 Of 74 Rental Units

Last July, BHB reported that the new build rental property at 75 Clinton Street—at the corner of Montague Street (above Rite Aid)—was 90% leased, with 66 of the 74 units spoken for.

Now, only three units remain, according to Curbed, with leasing agent Aptsandlofts taking the marketing reins for the lease-out. Available units include a studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom, asking $3,350, $4,195 and $6,395 per month respectively. The building has a 24-hour doorman, landscaped roof terrace and fitness center.

Units hit the market in May 2012. In January 2012, owner Dallas-based investment firm Invesco flipped the nine-story property from condos to rentals, citing the “booming rental market,” with plans to market the units from $2,800 to $7,000 a month.

When the building was originally destined to be a condo, units were priced at $519,820 up to $1,699,000. (Photo: CT)

Who would pay 3350.00 to live in a studio in that monstrosity?

Incredible. And it’s not even one of the better parts of the Heights and now it’s next to a construction site.

    Apparently it’s nearly sold out.

It’s a few blocks from Promenade, across from the train which is one 1 stop to Manhattan, near restaurants… And cheaper than new build on the horrific Upper East Side. Who wouldnt want to live there!
