Massive Lease Sign At 112 Montague Street: Gone, Gone, Gone

Word is Landmarks didn’t take kindly to broker Massey Knakal’s massive second-floor banner peddling the commercial space at 112 Montague Street (which BHB shared on March 14).

That baby is now a whisper in the wind. Comments in our post confirmed that with regulations limiting the size of commercial signage, the Brooklyn Heights Association contacted the broker, which obviously promptly complied.

The former locale of Starbucks has been empty since May 2012. (CT)

Gone why? I would rather have it there to attract attention. Also, it looks a heck of a lot better than the signs for the threading place… What a dump Monty is… LOL.

I didn’t mind the sign at all. If it helps the place get rented why not? What’s more of an eyesore – a large sign, or a completely vacant 2 story building going on a year now?

We are all so fortunate to live in Brooklyn Heights and in a country where we have so many opportunities to live and grow as we wish to. Let us rejoice in all that we see and experience each day with gratitude, and love and respect for others……………….

glad it is gone! whoever is looking for a lease will see the sign without it being a giant poster – Glad BHA followed up on that
