Brooklyn Heights’ Arthur Miller: GQ Deems ‘Back In Style’

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and Brooklyn Heights resident Arthur Miller was certainly a stylish gent in his time (1915-2005), and the March 2013 issue of GQ pays homage to a revival of the “Arthur Miller Look.”

The men’s fashion mag writes, “This spring, fashion designers rediscovered the playwright so dapper he landed Marilyn Monroe. Miller’s stripped-down, subtly quirky riff on prep was all over the runways, and now it’s hitting stores. Think of him as the godfather of this season’s aesthetic.”

Miller’s raincoat popped collar, white oxford embellishments, specs, and shoes are among the items for which he is given a style shout-out.
