Goose Barnacle’s David Alperin Talks Turkey About Being A Heights Native

Fourth-generation Brooklyn Heights resident & owner of Atlantic Avenue’s menswear store/art gallery Goose Barnacle David Alperin, is profiled in Brooklyn Magazine. He tells the pub, “I’m an old-fashioned retailer. I don’t want to lose the fact that I’m a part of this Brooklyn neighborhood.”

Brooklyn Mag adds, “Visiting Goose Barnacle is like stepping back into a time when hospitality and quality extended into every aspect of life, when immediacy and disposability were not virtues.” The store is located at 91 Atlantic Avenue. (Photo: Matt Feddersen)
