Fallen Limb Blocking Hotel St. George 2/3 Subway Entrance

A formidable tree limb is down right in front of the 2/3 entrance at the Hotel St. George on Clark Street, as well as some other fairly significant broken limbs along Clark to the Promenade. In addition, a fallen limb is blocking the Remsen Street Promenade entrance. CBS 2 is reporting that winds reached 65 mph Monday night. More pics below. Please share any information about downed trees you’re seeing in the neighborhood… (CT)

Thanks for the updates on both your blogs as well as the photos and videos. You made the two parents of a student living at the St. George Residence breathe a lot easier knowing that we were getting pinpoint updates about the area where our son resides. Any advice for how students who take the 2 and 3 subway to school in Manhattan every day might get there during the repairs to the tunnels?

    Thanks again.

that limb fell down the block a bit – looks like it was moved to the sidewalk by the 2/3 to clear the road

crews are out clearing fallen branches already this morning
