Book Says Brooklyn Inspires the World

Brooklyn Beep Marty Markowitz and other famous Brooklynites are scheduled to attend author Peter Golenbock’s reading of his In the Country of Brooklyn: Inspiration to the World at Barnes and Noble [106 Court Street] Tuesday (10/21) night at 7PM.  The collection includes interviews with Pete Hamill, Marvin Miller, Monte Irvin, Curtis Sliwa, John Hope Franklin, Neil Sedaka,  “Cousin Brucie” Morrow and Marty Markowitz.
