    About half the residents of Brooklyn Heights are away- it’s mostly visitors and tourists around. Did a lot of gardening. Nice quiet weekend.

    I was disappointed and embarrassed that Atlantic Avenue was such a trashy mess on Memorial Day. Not the best face to show our service people and foreign visitors! Did the BID not think to coordinate to spruce it up a bit or at least put out extra garbage pails to handle the traffic?
