Brooklyn Bridge Park Signage Added Along Promenade

Friday morning, signage was installed along portions of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade railing, with descriptors of the Piers within view. Pier 5, for instance, at the south end, offers the architect, features of the area and (just for a giggle?), a completion date of Late Fall 2012.

    Why post them on the water side where they block the view?

    These are an eye-sore… certainly, there’s a better place to post these (if they’re even necessary on the Promenade – seems more relevant down along Furman and the entrances and fence-lines within the park itself

    Can these be moved?? Horrendous!
