Actor and stand-up comedian Jerry Brooks—better known as J.B. Smoove—has closed on an 843-square-foot, 1-bedroom condo at One Brooklyn Bridge Park. The loft-style unit, for which he paid $524,398, includes a home office. The deal was brokered by MNS.
Brooks is perhaps best known for playing Leon on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and also appeared as Trucky in “Pootie Tang,” along with roles in “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Saturday Night Live.” In 2012, his first televised comedy special, “JB Smoove: That’s How I Dooz It,” premiered on Comedy Central.
