In Our Hands Rescue is back in Brooklyn Heights Friday March 2, from noon to 6 p.m., in front of TD Bank at 205 Montague Street and the corner of Court Street, sponsoring dog and cat adoptions.
Teamed with the North Shore Animal League, look for the van outside, offering rescued cats, kittens, pups and small pooches, all looking for homes. Application, references, ID and donation required. Apply online for pre-approval here: inourhandsrescue.org
Adopt at lunch and they’ll hold your pet until you get off work. Take your new friend home the same day. In Our Hands Rescue is a not-for-profit 501c3 and all donations are tax deductible.
The next scheduled rescue adoption event is St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday March 17, at the Regal Theater, 108 Court Street.
