Sahadi’s on [187-189 Atlantic Avenue] is celebrating its 60th birthday.  The Brooklyn Eagle has a great retrospective.

    Sahadi’s is great. I love their cheese selection, olive oil and nuts. The cannedsan marzano is the cheapest anywhere.

    I wish there were more family run businesses like Sahadi’s in our neighborhood . Unless they own the building many family run shops go out of business because they get squeezed out by the rent.
