The Exchange is a not-for-profit market for handcrafted goods, many made by local artisans, including children’s clothing, toys, pottery, decorative pillows, soaps and lotions, sachets, and the like, as well as books of local interest (the last including children’s books by local author and artist Melanie Hope Greenberg). It is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Thursday 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., and Saturday and Sunday 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The Women’s Exchange is truly a unique institution – one of the few WE’s still in existence. It is a wonderful place for small gifts – for babies, children and adults and items like cocktail napkins and candles. Something to remember – it is totally volunteer operated – including the checkout staff who sometimes get a little confused over the computerized system — patience, please. They are your neighbors!
