Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This coming weekend — late Friday evening, August 2 until early Monday morning, August 5– the only planned change diectly affecting service at local stations is that the only late night/early morning service at Court Street or at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech will be Brooklyn bound N trains, as Manhattan bound N trains will be re-routed via the Q line between DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street, and R trains will not be running in either direction. All other lines serving local stations should, barring the unforseen, be running normally, except that 2 and 3 trains will be on a reduced schedule — every twelve minutes. This pattern will be continued throughout the following work week — Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9 — late nights Monday to Tuesday through Thursday to Friday.

These are the PLANNED changes affecting local service for this weekend and for the following week. Always check MTA Info for unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
