The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange is throwing open its doors to summon the holiday spirit on Thursday, November 7.
From 5:30 – 7:30pm, the shop will be open to celebrate its 165th anniversary and inspire some early holiday shopping, including handmade ornaments, decorations, and greeting cards, set amid a trimmed Christmas tree, Christmas lights, and homemade treats.
Also on hand will be members and artisans of the Brooklyn Women’s Exchange.
You can also save the dates for the BWE’s annual silhouette portraits by Deborah O’Connor:
Friday, November 22: 10am – 6pm
Saturday, November 23: 10am – 5pm
Sunday, November 24: 10am – 5pm
Pets are welcome, and you can e-mail bwe.silhouettes@gmail.com or call 718 624 3435 to reserve an appointment. Originals are $35; copies are $15.
