The Underground Thrift Store at Plymouth Church re-opens for the spring on Sunday, March 5.
Spring merchandise will be featured, with women’s clothing by Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Theory, Marni, Miu Miu, Polo et al. and men’s clothing by Brooks Brothers, Charles Tyrwhitt, J. Crew, and Banana Republic et al. The store also has a large assortment of children’s clothing.
25% of net proceeds are donated to Restore NYC, whose mission is to “end sex trafficking in New York and restore the well-being and independence of foreign national survivors.”
The store is located at 65 Hicks Street and will be open on Sunday from 12:30 to 4:00 pm. You can also follow the store on Facebook.
The Underground Thrift accepts donations of gently used designer wear on Sundays at the shop or during the week at Plymouth Church, and is looking for volunteers to help sort and hang merchandise, clerk in the store and to post updates on social media.
