Greenmarket Expands to Thursdays

With warmer weather comes the addition of a third day of shopping at the Brooklyn Borough Hall Greenmarket. Beginning tomorrow, the Greenmarket will be open on Thursdays, in addition to its year-round days of operation, Tuesdays and Saturdays. The hours will be, as always, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    I stopped in this morning & was excited to see spinach & kale at the stand for Phillips Farm. They plant it in the fall so it has a head start when the sun gets warm in the spring. The first spring veggies of the year!
