Good advice, but that train left the station long ago.

Besides inviting robberies, the phone zombies become nuisances on the sidewalk, not paying attention to fellow pedestrians and carrying on annoying conversations via FaceTime. Put ’em away!

I don’t mind phone zombies as long as they stay to the right. I’ve had people walk straight at me looking me in the eye expecting me to move to my left. Waking is like driving, people. Stay in your lane.

Is there any word on when the scaffolding around St Charles Borromeo will be removed? That has been serving as a shadowy hiding place, and a stoner shelter for several years now, which isn’t helping matters.

I’ve also reported 2 street lights being out in that area, which have fortunately been repaired, so at least the area is well lit, but light can’t penetrate through the scaffolding, now can it?

In front of Packer on Joralemon continues to be dark, despite the broken street light having been reported months ago. That’s a crime scene waiting to happen.

How about the mentally unstable people walking around the neighborhood? From Bklyn heights to Carroll gardens!

You can see them all around walking down Atlantic Ave, Court + Montague at.

Hanging out in B&N, trader Joe’s, and the Target on Flatbush Ave, literally camped out there in the Starbucks inside of Target.

This guy comes down my block screaming at the top of his lungs and talking + punching the trees.

The ring neighborhood alert has a few videos from our neighborhood of packages getting stolen and most recently a car getting broken into on State + Boreum boulevard right near central booking.

The scaffolding/shed is required to be lit, if not report it to 311/DOB

I know, I’ve been thinking of wearing a bike bell on a wrist band to clear my way.

That area has always been a hot spot for muggings. Miscreants are attracted by the ghettoplex and the courts.

Every time you’ve got an issue with a “mentally unstable” person on the street, take a moment to thank Dead President Ronnie.

Here’s the crime map for the area for the last two years. It doesn’t look like a hot spot. Sidney Place had no crimes in 2018-2019. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/cc0d9f62e6c01854423111457b8039b1b3ab84b444ea0778d7029509b9d920a1.png

I meant the general area, not specifically Sidney Place. I’m also going back decades, not just two years.

  • CassieVonMontague

    What general area?

    How many decades ago?

    OMG (rolling eyes)…
