The Spring Egg Hunt at Pierrepont Playground takes place Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m. sharp. From my experience (my apartment has a view of the playground) it’s best to get there early, as the line to get in grows rapidly.

BHB reader “Alex” sent us this photo of what appears to be a City Hawk hanging out over Pierrepont Playground this weekend. Hopefully he’s more mellow than the big fella we spotted chewing up a pigeon last year and more like the laid back chap who came to visit in the snow back in December 2010.

Because of a forecast of rain tomorrow morning, the Spring Egg Hunt at Pierrepont Playground has been postponed to Sunday at 10:00 a.m. No word yet on St. Charles Borromeo’s Easter Egg Hunt.
