Seattle’s new waterfront highway tunnel project is opening this weekend. Here’s a short article on how they overcame local political inertia (and alternate plans for another viaduct tunnel) to get the project done: https://www.king5.com/article/news/local/tunnel-effect/decades-of-politics-behind-new-seattle-tunnel/281-95d2e755-7144-46d7-80df-181326547cb4

    LOL

Completely agree. I shopped there once and was so poorly treated I’d never go back.

What was it after “ricky’s?” I remember a cozy Italian restaurant.

As I recall, in the mid 1980s it was a Mexican restaurant.

I am a daily user of Cadman Park. For the last couple of mornings, I’ve noticed extreme damage to the very soft ground around the “running track” in Cadman Park . A vehicle has driven partially on it, digging huge grooves in the turf (real, not plastic) in several spots. I’m pretty sure it’s the park police since the other night they were camped out in a small car near the plastic turf, probably to keep dogs off. One of the worst spots is right by the Pinapple Walk exit. I’m not a mad fan of the quality of park maintainance- not all leaves cleaned up; rubber track falling apart, helped by the aforementioned wheels’ etc. Anyone got a pipeline into the inner sanctums of the Parks dept.?

There have been cops (federales, NYPD) and camera crews driving all over Cadman for the past 1-2 months because of the El Chapo trial

The law enforcement cars have been very careful not to drive on the grass. I live across the street. It’s the Parks Dept. late at night since the tracks are mainly at the north end away from the court and near the Park office.

    Hi there,
To follow up on your excellent suggestion, I would like to consider this. How do i go about doing so? I wish it weren’t so, but budget would be a factor.
