Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

Hallelujah! While there will still be no 2 or 3 service in either direction at Clark Street or Borough Hall (with 4 and 5 trains providing alternate service from Manhattan and to and from destinations further in Brooklyn) from late night Friday, June 22 through Saturday, June 23, full 2 and 3 service will be restored as of 12:01 AM Sunday, June 24. Apart from this, there are no planned changes directly affecting service at any local stations this weekend. The other good news is that there are no ongoing service disruptions caused by the partial ceiling collapse at Borough Hall Station yesterday. However, the following work week — Monday, June 25 to Friday, June 29 — each night from 9:45 PM to 5:00 AM, there will be no 2 or 3 service in either direction at Clark Street or Borough Hall, as track repair work will be continuing.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, and for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info.

I heard a malicious rumor—perpetrated by those MTA people—that starting the weekend of June 30th, Clark Street will once again be open for business.
