Court Street, where the more things change, the more they remain the same. I wish the shopkeeper a speedy and calm recovery.

All this goes to the continuing fiction, fostered by many government and press circles that Court St is a perfectly or largely safe place. Anyone who has dealings with businesses or building management’s knows differently. There is a Lot of unreported crime…and there are far fewer cops assigned as there should be. Visable police presence is most times nonexistent. And of course, this being the big bird era, everything is done to avoid an arrest……

i don’t know where you’re looking but i feel like there’s almost always a police presence on Court near Joralemon.

As a leader of the free world, I don’t understand why Det. Benjamin Jeffrey Smith Franklin was not able to prevent this crime or intervene as it occurred. I assume that he has significant but unpublished leads in the case and will be making an arrest in the near future. That, or he will just continue his insane comments under a variety of names.
