Ah I believe you’re correct. Now I don’t remember if I heard the aerocade (is that right?) at 6 or later, like around 11.

I’m really reluctant to click on a link, not knowing what it leads to.

3 things this week from a grumpy oldish man –

    a) BHB needs a little new “talent” – there ARE things going on in the nabe that are a little harder to report than it is to bang a Bargemusic or BHS announcement into a blog post. It’s great that there are still some people looking for a career in journalism – maybe they recognize that most pendulums DO swing both ways – but it must be SO hard to break in that getting a capable intern or 2 (esp. while they’re still students) shouldn’t be that hard.

    b) The police presence at a non-controversial Cadman Park/Plaza event last week was unbelievable. When overtime for policemen seems to be more of a desideratum than public safety, something ought to be done. 50 of them could have headed over to BBP and spread out, … but I guess the brass at the 84th or wherever stopped thinking creatively years and years ago.

It was actually a police event (to benefit children with special needs.)

This is the fourth week of alarm testing/tuning in the former law dorm. It drives me bonkers, as I work from home. And it sullied the St. Ann’s Puppet Parade to have alarm bells blaring in the background. You think the building is the height of the Empire State Building! Four weeks?!
