This Weekend at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe

On Friday evening, head down to the Brooklyn Cat Cafe for Mewvie Night and enjoy a screening of The Lion King while hanging out with a bevy of adoptable local felines. Tickets are $20 and include soda and snack. The film starts at 7:30.

Tickets can be purchased at the Cat Cafe site or at the door at 149 Atlantic Avenue.

 

On Saturday, the CatWise Cat Café Tour Presented by Wellness® Natural Pet Food With Pam Johnson-Bennett makes a stop in our neighborhood. Johnson-Bennett is a cat behavior expert and best-selling author, and she’ll be promosing her new book Cat Wisewhich answers questions about feline behavior from their devoted owners.

The CatWise Cat Café Tour presented by Wellness is intended to give back to animals in need. As the presenting sponsor, Wellness Natural Pet Food will donate 1,000 meals to Brooklyn Cat Café to help provide their rescued and adoptable cats with natural nutrition while they wait to be adopted. Wellness will also provide freebies of their products to those in attendance.

A $5.00 donation to the Cafe is suggested for those in attendance.

In addition to authoring a number of books about cats, Johnson-Bennett hosted the Nat Geo Wild/Animal Planet show Psycho Kitty, which aired in the UK and Canada.

The event will be held twice, from 3:00 – 4:30 pm and from  4:30 – 6:00 pm.  You can a reserve a spot here.
