Nicholas Kristof, Sheryl WuDunn to Speak at Brooklyn Historical Society Thursday

This Thursday evening, March 5 starting at 6:30 Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Nicholas Kristof, a New York Times op-ed columnist, and his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, formerly with the Times where she also won a Pulitzer (she and Kristof won it jointly for their reporting on Tiananmen Square) and now with Mid-Market Securities, an investment banking firm specializing in small to medium sized companies, will be at the Brooklyn Historical Society to read from and discuss their book, A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity. The book

take[s] an expansive look at the ways organizations and individuals tackle social injustice around the world, and explore how we all can become more engaged and effective global citizens.
